Analog Monday is back! After a short break we’ve returned with a whole heap of great new live performance videos thanks to our talented and enthusiastic musicians.
This week we bring you something a bit different for Analog Songs – one of our regular stars, Brad Reid, is part of a string quartet based in Halifax, the Baroque N’ Fiddle String Quartet. They play traditional Celtic fiddle music, something I have to admit I’ve never listened to. Having heard this group I’ll definitely be making an effort to see them again. Check out their website for news of all their upcoming shows: www.bnfsq.com.
For this video we went on the road again and recorded it at the Old Triangle Pub in Halifax. You’ll see from the decorations it was just before St Patrick’s day…it was a Friday afternoon and the pub was beginning to get very busy during the shoot. We did this one without our sound man, Cameron, although he did work his magic in the post production, thanks Cameron! Huge thanks also to Jon Janes who stepped in to help us out with the recording, you’re a hero!
